What You Can Expect:


Situated in the lush tropical region of North Side, our tour will begin at the Island's newest nature tourist attraction, the Cayman Crystal Caves. You will participate in a guided walking tour through the surrounding tropical forest and 3 spectacular caves. Among the forest and caves are captivating tropical plants and animal life, including strangler balsam trees, air plants, parrots, and bat. Venture to the Wreck of the Ten Sail - a historic shipwreck that occurred off the East End in 1794. Enjoy the scenery at the blowholes of East End and watch the sea spray through these caverns up to 30 feet high. Glimpse the Cayman Islands in it's early days at Pedro St. James Castle, and taste the famous Tortuga rums and world renewed rum cakes.

  • Stop 2. Wreck of the Ten Sails - observe boat parts in the horizon from this historic shipwreck that occurred off the east coast and learn about the impact it had on the people of the Islands years later [photo opportunity].

  • Stop 3. The Blowholes - watch crashing waves force water into caverns and send impressive geysers shooting up [photo opportunity].

  • Stop 4. Grape Tree Cafe - enjoy a traditional seafood meal at this off the beaten path restaurant in Bodden Town [lunch, bathrooms, and bar snacks available].

  • Stop 5. Pedro St. James Castle - birthplace of democracy and home of the first settler in the Cayman Islands dating back over 2 decades [photo opportunity, souvenir shop and bathrooms available].

  • Stop 6. Tortuga Rum Cake Factory - sample some of the local rums and world famous rum cakes [souvenir shops, bathrooms and free wifi available].

  • Not recommended for cruise passengers with departure time 5pm (local time) or earlier

  • This tour is not recommended for guests with limited mobility 

  • At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the following information: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time

  • Check-in starts 20 minutes prior to departure time

  • Departure times are in local island time 

  • Grand Cayman is a tender port, please disembark as early as possible to avoid missing your tour. You may request "priority tender" on-board your ship if necessary  

  • You should bring spending cash (USD) and a camera. Visa and MasterCard are also accepted

  • Wear comfortable shoes and clothes

  • If you arrive to the meeting location early and don't see anyone from Amvivo do not panic, there are shops, bars and free Wifi spots within 100 feet from the meeting point where you can take advantage of while waiting
